How Xzotic was Born and what its plans are.
Hi everyone, Mohit here again.
I have been working on xzotic for the last 1 month, it was an incredible ride to build something that will help others.
Not wasting any time let me tell you some backstory of xzotic how it started and how the thought process went into it.
If you have doubts about what xzotic means, wait some time I will explain at the last of this article.
At first back in June-July when AI was just a trending topic, I wanted to build something for/on it. Many AI tools/advancements were launching daily, I was very excited to use them. I thought to make a directory so many people can access these in one place and get to know what is happening in these industries. But there was one problem with it, back in that time there were already some directories available built by some best developers out there. so I took a step back and thought to build something unique that would help users I thought let's not only tools but add many other different things that will make people feel something unique they visited and they don't have to worry about not finding the right thing.
So I took the bet and started working on my 2nd website in November, and that was not xzotic. it was already 60% completed and I lost access to it due to my laptop. My laptop was not in good condition, it always lagged and sometimes it stopped like it was dead. So all the data were gone, it was a very hard time for me. the laptop was 5+ years old, so it made me decide to buy a new laptop. Then in late November, I got my new laptop. I stopped this work for some weeks and then the exam started, so usually I have to focus on that. As I am not studying the whole semester it becomes necessary to study one night before the paper. Our exam ended on January 20, and then I went home and spent some quality time with my family.
Now I had the momentum to start once again as I was free and started brainstorming on it. How to build the UI and UX for a better experience.
So I started working on it on February 1 and went to my friend to ask about thinking of a name and designing a logo. It almost took us 2 days to decide on a name and design logo and branding color. he designed various types of logos, some were selected and now you can see which one we are using.
Now the question is what is Xzotic?
First, when I started working on it, I thought only of making a place for free courses but as time went on, I changed my mind then the tool section and the blog section were added.
So simply we can say Xzotic is nothing but a learning platform that contains a vast amount of free resources to upskill yourself.
I want Xzotic to be your one-stop solution for finding something to learn for free and we are working on it.
There are 200+ free courses containing 30+ categories, and 100+ AI tools to explore and leverage.
and for sure it will not stop here, it will get updated daily.
My struggle to build xzotic is not as easy as it looks. I know from the perspective of users they always want what they are getting. But to make the product very easy to use is a very very difficult task for makers especially. There are different thought processes that go into building and how it gonna solve the user's problem.
Going to classes in the morning and from 4 pm giving full time to building xzotic was not easy but also not that hard. It was fun, not exactly, but I made the process so fun that it always motivated me to work for it daily.
I know it is not a beautiful one that will please our eye, but to keep it simple it needs to look simple. I still lack in writing hook copies and need to study more about user experience. But I think from my side Xzotic is a good try and hope everyone will like it.

if I ask what is my next plan, I always wanted to build a job marketplace, like a freelance marketplace where users can get freelance works.
