AI=Apple Intelligence. Seriously?
An Overview of Apple WWDC 2024 on Apple Intelligence.
I regret now I missed the live broadcast of WWDC 2024, but no problem if you have missed it also. I just collected all the required information to know more about so-called AI ( Apple Intelligence ) in Apple's way.
They never follow the trend, they are the trend. They create the trends and it is obvious that it shows on their product and launches.
They have never said the term AI in the entire session or in any other previous launch sessions and when they started talking about AI they just rebranded it to Apple Intelligence. Isn't it cool? What a brilliant strategy.
Apple Intelligence, coming in beta this fall, is built into iPhones, iPads, and Macs to enhance writing, self-expression, and productivity.
It offers new Writing Tools that help users find the right words, summarize lectures, shorten group threads, and prioritize notifications.
Apple Intelligence enables the creation of personalized images, Genmoji, and custom memory movies.
Siri gains new superpowers with an all-new design, richer language understanding, and the ability to type commands.
It leverages personal context, takes action across apps, and provides product knowledge.
Apple Intelligence prioritizes privacy through on-device processing and Private Cloud computing.
ChatGPT from OpenAI is integrated into Siri and Writing Tools for enhanced expertise.
Users control when ChatGPT is used and are prompted before sharing information.
ChatGPT is free to access, with paid features available for subscribers.
New App Intents, APIs, and frameworks simplify the integration of system-level features into third-party apps.
Apple Intelligence is initially available in U.S. English.
